This month OHS science club is highlighting diversity in science. These scientists come from a variety of countries, cultures, religions, genders, and sexual orientations. They are neurodiverse and neurotypical. Science is for everyone!
OHS Biomedical Magnet Program learning phlebotomy! Students in the freshman class of our Biomedical Magnet Program learn about the work of phlebotomist and explore it as a career. Along the way, they also learn how to draw blood using a real syringe on a phlebotomy arm!

Chef T and her classes hosted 8th grade Davies students, who got to be junior chefs for the day. They learned how to make omelets, decorated Christmas cookies and assisted with kitchen prep and clean up!

The Oakcrest math club sponsored a pbj sandwich making. 118 sandwiches were made. The sandwiches will be donated to the Atlantic City rescue mission.
Last Friday, December 16th, the Kindness Club officially opened our new school thrift shop the "Kindness Closet: from me to you!". We had a little over 60 students throughout the day stop by, with 34 sales made using Kindness Cash they earned by getting caught being kind.
Last week the Kindness Club made holiday cards for the residents of the Grace Health Services nursing home to spread some holiday cheer!
The OHS Robotics team went 4-1 in their first competition. They also received the high score for the event in their last match.
Seven Oakcrest High School JROTC cadets braved the chilly night air to lead the march in the EHC holiday parade. Performing rifle drills and flag presentations in front of the grand stand, they demonstated the true spirit of community service.
