Oakcrest 9th graders Isabella Rosario, Viona Lee and Kaitlyn Ho have been selected to have their art displayed at the Youth Art Month Exhibit at the Noyes Arts Garage in Atlantic City. The reception is 12-2pm Saturday, March 11. Come see the amazing talent of our art students!

Oakcrest students held their annual World Language fair, celebrating various countries and cultures around the world! Such a fun day filled with art, food, dancing, trivia, games, and more!











Students in Oakcrest's Sports Management class recently completed a "fantasy football" competition. Students have been working hard on creating teams, logos, websites and managing their roster actions. Congrats to Angelo & Zaid on their championship ring awards!


Students in the Oakcrest math club were busy making 110 pbj sandwiches this morning. The sandwiches are going to the AC Rescue Mission to help those less fortunate that us. It feels good to do good ♡

Lemon Day! Today our Lemon Club raised awareness for Childhood Cancer by selling lemonade and lemon treats. All money collected is donated to Alex's Lemonade Stand https://www.alexslemonade.org/. Last year we donated over $1000!



Oakcrest Art Club and World Language Club students celebrate Mardi Gras by making colorful masks and eating the traditional King Cake. Laissez les bons temps rouler!





A special thank you to Sgt. Clayton and Lt. Virgo of the Township of Hamilton PD for meeting with members of our S.T.A.R. group and Teen Center. They engaged the students in a dynamic yet timely conversation around race relations, how to pursue a career in law enforcement, and ways to improve interactions between the local police and community members of color. The students truly enjoyed the discussion and we look forward to welcoming them back soon!




Geometry students at Oakcrest high school practiced the art of origami yesterday. The students in the Math Club chose seven different creations to make and teach to others.





The Oakcrest Academic Team and National Honor Society recently teamed up to host The 28th Annual Oakcrest Brain Brawl. This year eight South Jersey High Schools participated. Students representing Oakcrest proudly pose with their third place trophy. Bravo to all students that participated at this year's event!

The Oakcrest Kindness Club created and delivered nearly 100 hand-made Valentine's throughout the school sharing the love of Valentine's day with students, teachers and staff. We appreciate our Oak family and hope that you all had a love-filled Valentine's Day!

To celebrate Black History Month, Mrs. Tantum's Geometry class joined Mrs. Gaskill's Dance class to learn five different African dances and how they are deeply rooted in culture and tradition.




Corey Thomas and Royanah Farmer became State Champions in the 55m dash. Corey's time was 6.52 and Royanah's time was 7.26.
