KINDESS CLUB ~ Ms. Abel & Ms. Daley

The Kindness Club, created last school year, is for students who wish to foster kindness in our school and community. We come together and…are kind!  Kindness Club members, known as Kindness Ambassadors, bring a caring spirit, a helpful hand and a desire to make our school/world a better place. We partake in various efforts throughout the year on our own and with other clubs and organizations. We spread kindness in ways big and small! Room 216 is where we meet, every other B day, during Falcon Time. After school meeting dates will be announced in our club’s Google Classroom.  Come check us out and make a difference here at Oakcrest, in our community, and in your own life! OHS THRIFT STORE: The Kindness Closet, From Me…to You!

The Oakcrest High School Thrift Store is celebrating its second year at The Nest and it is a unique resource and activity!!!  Students who participate in running the OHS Thrift Store do so as a member of the Kindness Club, a member of Academic Foundations, or both! We accept clothing donations from the school and local community. Donations -that are student approved- are displayed for purchase in our store, which is located in Oakcrest's main cafeteria. What sets our thrift store apart from every other thrift store in the world?!!! The only way to purchase an item is via Kindness Cash! The only way a student can “earn” Kindness Cash…is to be caught being kind! If you want to be a part of this nifty-thrifty fun, join the Kindness Club, see Ms. Abel, or  Ms. Daley!
