Major- Engineering Life goals- Bioengineer 4. What activities were you involved in during high school? Soccer, Swimming, Track, National Honor Society, Latin Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. 5. What awards, scholarships, or special recognitions have you received? AP Scholar with Distinction, National Merit Commended Student, NJSIAA Scholar Athlete Award, and Varsity Scholar. 6. What was your most memorable high school moment? AP Scholar with Distinction, National Merit Scholarship, Outstanding Sophomore- OHS Band, Varsity Scholar, and Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar Award. 6. Major- Undecided Life Goals- Use my acquired skills and ability to give back to those that haven't had the same opportunities. What activities were you involved in during high school? Baseball, Drama, Soccer, Interact, Swimming, and Student Council. What awards, scholarships, or special recognitions have you received? AP Scholar with Distinction, Varsity Scholar, High Honor Roll, National Merit Scholar, Golden Bat (Baseball), 2nd Team Cape Atlantic (Soccer), 1st Team Cape Atlantic (Baseball), 2nd Team Cape Atlantic (Baseball), and Edward J. Major- Civil Engineering Life Goals- Civil Engineer What activities were you involved in during high school? Student Council, Interact, Ski Club, National Honor Society, Academic Team, OHS Powder Puff Game, Mr. Oakcrest, Soccer, and Track. What awards, scholarships or special recognitions have you received? #1 in Region and #4 in State in Stock Market Competition, Honorable Mention All CAL- OHS Soccer (Gr.10 and Gr.12), 2nd Team All CAL- OHS Soccer (Gr.11), Corresponding Secretary Student Council, Rowan Scholar, Office Max Scholar, and Edward J. What are you planning on majoring in and what are your life goals? Major- Physical Therapy Life Goals- Physical Therapist What activities were you involved in during high school? Captain of Soccer, Swimming, and Track. NHS, Student Council, FCA, and Latin Club. What awards, scholarships or special recognitions have you received? Varsity Scholar, 12 Varsity Letters (Track, Swimming, and Soccer), TD Bank Scholarship, and Dean Scholarship from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. What was your most memorable high school experience? Making it to the Group IV Finals in OHS Girls Soccer, making it to the Meet of Champions in OHS Girls' Swimming, and 2009 Field Day. What activities were you involved in during high school? Cheerleader, NHS, Student Council, OHS Band, and Astronomy Club. What awards, scholarships, or other special recognitions have you received? What are you planning on majoring in and what are your life goals? Major- Nursing Life Goals- I hope to become a labor and delivery nurse eventually becoming a Midwife. What activities were you involved in during high school? Drama, Peer Mediation, NHS, Manager for Girls' Cross Country, Sunday School Teacher, Search Committed Representative, Lay Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Acolyte, and Nursery Coordinator. What awards, scholarships or special recognitions have you received? The College of New Jersey Merit Scholarship and Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar Award. What are you planning on majoring in and what are your life goals? Major- English Life Goals- To become a journalist. What activities were you involved in during high school? Academic Team, Mock Trial, Yearbook, NHS, 4H, and Swimming/Diving Manager. What awards, scholarships, or recognitions have you received? National Merit Scholarship Commended Student, High Honor Roll, Varsity Scholar, and Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar Award. What was your most memorable high school experience? Northeastern University, George Washington University, Drexel University, and American University. What are you planning on majoring in and what are your life goals? Major- Political Science Life Goals- My life goals are to gain entrance into law school and pursue a career in the political arena. I look forward to internships in London and Spain where I will gain experience in various governments and become fluent in Spanish. What activities were you involved in during high school? President of Latin Club, Vice President of Math Club, Junior Engineering Technical Society, Varsity Swimming, OHS Marching Band, OHS Concert Band, NHS, and Shirley Mae Breast Cancer Organization. What awards, scholarships or special recognitions have you received? 2008 New Jersey Girls' State Delegate, Lead America National Leadership Summit, AP Scholar, Varsity Scholar, High Honor Roll, Varsity Swimming (2yr), OHS Marching Ambassadors, OHS Drum line Captain, Northeastern University Dean Scholarship, Drexel University Dean Scholarship, and Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar Award. What was your most memorable high school experience? Mrs. Finn's AP Government Class was one of the most memorable moments in my high school experience. Throughout the year she challenged us, inspired us, and made us truly believe we could be the change we wanted to see in the world. It was here I first fell in love with the government process. Oakcrest High School gave me leadership opportunities that range from Latin Director to my most cherished Drum line Captain position. My opportunities at Oakcrest have enabled me to embrace the challenges of the future.	Return to Top of Page

Major- Undecided Life Goals- Having a fulfilling career. What activities were you involved in during high school? Cross-Country, Track, Swimming, NHS, Student Council, and Ski Club. What awards, scholarships or special recognitions have you received? Cross-Country Varsity Letter, Track Varsity Letter, Swimming Varsity Letter, Varsity Scholar, and University of Delaware Merit Scholarship. What was your most memorable high school experience?
